At Lyndhurst, we believe in ‘pupil voice’.
Each year, pupils and staff elect a school councillor and deputy representative from each class. Their duties are to come to termly meetings – sharing, debating and discussing ideas. They may also need to speak to their class, collate ideas, conduct surveys or fill in questionnaires.
Over the years, our school councillors have been inspirational in the development of our school: its ethos, learning and the physical environment.
Our school council is currently looking at: behaviour, play equipment, E-Safety and develping the curriculum.
